The decisions of the capital investment are the long term of corporate finance decisions which is related to the capital structure or the fixed assets and all decisions are based on the several types of inter-related criteria. Corporate finance basically deals with the strategic financial issues which is associated with the achieving of this goal like how the corporation should manage and raise its capital, what type of investments the firm should make. It is focuses on the strategic, capital needs of businesses and operational financial. The discipline of corporate finance can be divided into short term and long term decisions and techniques. The short term decisions can be grouped under the heading of working capital management where as the long term choices are based on the capital investment decisions about the which type of projects receive the investment. Generally, the management must allocate the limited type of resources between the competing opportunities in a process which is known as the capital budgeting. This type of capital allocation decisions requires the estimated value for the each type of project or the opportunity, timing and the predictability of the future cash and a function of the size.
